A Wonderful Gift

The first year of each of my sons' lives is rather a blur. What a gift it would have been to have had this book then. It actually would have been 4 gifts. First, I would have been far more aware of my feelings and observations at the time. Secondly, I'm sure my wife would have appreciated my being more mindful about being a supportive husband and father. Then, I would have a record to look back on that would have brought joy and patience as each of my sons grew into the wonderful men they are today. Finally, I can only imagine how they would have loved to see what I was thinking and feeling as they were growing up.
Mr. Spangler's writing is crisp and clear which makes following his meditations both entertaining and inspiring. There is one meditation for each week of your child's first year of life and four thought provoking questions or assignments which you could spread over a week. I recommend giving a copy of this wonderful little book to every expectant father you know.

Worthy book for new fathers
